About the Program

The Majestic Strength Honors Conservatory Division is our pre-professional training division for dedicated dancers ages 12 to 18 who are preparing for future opportunities in college dance programs, conservatories, and professional performance spaces.

Designed for serious students with a strong work ethic and a desire for advanced growth, this division offers a rigorous training experience rooted in technique, discipline, artistry, leadership, and personal development. The program is structured to challenge dancers at a higher level while equipping them with the tools, guidance, and mentorship needed to navigate the next stage of their artistic journey.

Enrollment is by audition or invitation only and includes required training hours, performance expectations, conduct standards, and professional development support.

Who This Division Is For

The Honors Conservatory Division is designed for dancers who:

  • aspire to pursue college dance programs, conservatories, or professional performance opportunities

  • are committed to advanced technical and artistic growth

  • thrive in an environment centered on structure, accountability, mentorship, and feedback

  • want to strengthen their portfolio, performance quality, résumé, and audition readiness

  • are prepared to train with greater focus, consistency, and intention

Training Focus

Honors Conservatory dancers follow a curated training experience designed to develop both technical excellence and artistic maturity. Areas of study may include:

  • Classical Ballet and Pointe

  • Jazz, Contemporary, and Modern

  • Improvisation and Choreographic Development

  • Leaps, Turns, and Lines

  • Conditioning and Injury Prevention

  • Artistic Coaching and Audition Preparation

Students may also receive access to select choreography opportunities, guest artists, private coaching, and seasonal evaluations designed to support continued growth.

Weekly Commitment

Dancers accepted into the Honors Conservatory Division are expected to train approximately 10 to 14 hours per week.

Training schedules are intentionally structured to align with Majestic Strength’s current offerings while maintaining the rigor expected of a pre-professional division. Students are expected to demonstrate consistency, readiness, and full engagement in the training process.

Professional Development

The Honors Conservatory Division is designed to prepare more than strong dancers. It is intended to help develop thoughtful, prepared, and well-rounded young artists.

Professional development opportunities may include:

  • Headshot and résumé development

  • Mock auditions and self-tape coaching

  • College and conservatory preparation support

  • Personalized feedback and artist check-ins

  • Mentorship and guidance related to future training pathways

Expectations and Standards

As a pre-professional division, the Honors Conservatory maintains high expectations for commitment, conduct, and professionalism.

Students are expected to demonstrate:

  • consistent attendance and punctuality

  • respectful conduct in and outside of the studio

  • a strong work ethic and willingness to receive correction

  • active participation in required events, activities, and division expectations

  • full commitment to the Conservatory agreement and training process

Students who do not uphold the expectations of the division may be subject to review, probation, or removal from the program.

Audition & Acceptance

Admission into the Majestic Strength Honors Conservatory Division is selective and based on audition or invitation only.

Prospective dancers are evaluated for technical foundation, performance quality, work ethic, readiness for advanced training, and overall fit for the division. Acceptance is reserved for students who demonstrate both potential and a genuine commitment to the discipline, expectations, and artistic standards of the program.

Auditions are held twice annually. In select cases, private evaluations may be arranged by request.
